400,000 Teachers Strike in India
The Utar Pradesh Employees Teachers Association called a strike yesterday, January 7th in pursuit of their pay claim
Union leaders say that the state government has not implemented the decisions of the sixth pay commission. All indications are that the strike has been widely supported.
