Tasmanian Teachers Demonstrating Last Month
Members of the Australian Education Union in Tasmania continue to take action against reforms of post year 10 education
Teachers are to stage a demonstration on Sunday March 14th against the ‘Tasmania Tomorrow’ reforms which will see students divided into three strands - so-called academies, polytechnics and skills institutes. Teachers see this as divisive and are also worried about the increasing privatisation of the post year 10 sector.
