Iranian Teachers to Take Action This Week

 A Teachers’ Protest in Iran

Teachers in Iran are to take action this week over the government’s failure to honour a pay agreement.

Education International has called for support for the teachers in Iran who take action under very difficult conditions. Their union the ITTA has its meetings broken up, active teacher trade unionists are imprisoned - not least Farzad Kamangar (see earlier posts) who is still under sentence of death.
