Our aim is to bring together teacher activists internationally by recording their struggles. All over the world teachers are taking action - occupying, demonstrating and striking - against 'reforms' which are standing in the way of truly emancipated and creative education for the world's children. Through the Forum we hope to allow teachers in struggle to call for and give solidarity and to exchange ideas for resistance. This site has been set up as a result of our book 'The Global Assault on Teaching, Teachers and their Unions: Stories for Resistance.'
