A Previous Demonstration by Teachers and Students against Sarkozy’s ‘Reforms’
Secondary school teachers in France are to strike against budget cuts on March 12th
The teachers are protesting against budget cuts by the Sarkozy government which amongst other things will lead to 16,000 fewer teachers from this September. The strike follows previous action last November against the same so-called reforms – all part of the budget cuts being foisted on education systems across Europe as a result of the economic crisis.
